Former Real Madrid coach explains why he would never manage manchester united

The reasons why Zinedine Zidane is unlikely to lead Manchester United have been given.

The legendary manager from France has had a very good career and was frequently mentioned as a candidate to lead Old Trafford.

After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was fired in November of last year, Zidane, who had two stints as Real Madrid’s head coach, was mentioned in connection with the open Man United position.

The Frenchman, who seemed uninterested in ever accepting the post, suggests that the connections were only shaky.

According to Zidane, a language barrier is the biggest reason he would never manage Manchester United.

The former Juventus midfielder is not fluent in English but does understand it. He is therefore unlikely to find employment in the nation.

Would I be interested in visiting Manchester United? Zidane stated in a Marca interview.

“I’m not entirely fluent in English, but I do comprehend it. I’m aware that some instructors visit clubs even if they don’t speak the local tongue, but I operate in a different manner.”

“To succeed, a variety of factors must be in play; this is a global situation. I am aware of my winning strategy.”

In 2014, Zidane started his managerial career with Real Madrid’s B team.

After Rafa Benitez was fired by the club in January 2016, the Frenchman was then elevated to manage the first team, where he had great success.

Real Madrid won the Champions League three years in a row under Zidane’s leadership, and the team also won La Liga in 2017.

The 50-year-old former player left his position in 2018 but returned in March 2019 and took over again, leading the team to another league championship in 2020.

After Los Blancos concluded the season without a trophy, Zidane resigned as manager of Real Madrid for the second time in 2021.

He hasn’t had a job since, although it seems like he wants to manage France after the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Zidane reportedly declined the opportunity to lead Paris Saint-Germain in favor of waiting for the role to open up with the national team.

Zidane’s former teammate Didier Deschamps is currently in charge of France.
