Ten Hag have asked Man Utd to complete a deal for Netherlands international today

Erik ten Hag requests that Manchester United complete the deal for Memphis Depay in order to fix the club’s striker dilemma.

Depay spent 18 months at Old Trafford after joining for £25 million in 2015. He is now likely to depart Barcelona on a free transfer after agreeing to mutually terminate his contract.

The 28-year-old has been in talks to join Juventus, but according to recent sources in Spain, the agreement is now in risk due to Depay‘s demands, which are reported to be €7 million per year.

Juventus is unwilling to meet that figure and is now ready to finalize the loan acquisition of Arkadiusz Milik from Marseille.

Sport adds that Depay’s future can be resolved as early as the end of the day.

The Netherlands international was brought to Old Trafford by Louis van Gaal, the current manager of the national team. He scored seven goals in 52 appearances during that spell before joining Lyon in 2016.
