Manchester United boss release list of three more signings after Casemiro transfer

MANCHESTER UNITED hopes to wrap up the signing of Casemiro over the weekend…

Erik ten Hag wants Manchester United to make three more signings after Casemiro before the September 1 transfer deadline, reports suggest. The Dutch tactician is now set to witness a mass scramble from the board, who are looking to bundle plenty of business over the line before the transfer window closes in just under two weeks.

United’s sobering 4-0 defeat to Brentford appears to have sparked activity in the boardroom with the club now working around the clock on several deals.

Casemiro looks set to be the fourth signing through the door with the Brazilian set to undergo a medical this weekend.

He will cost the Red Devils around £51million plus £8.5m in add-ons and will become one of the club’s top earners once he has completed his move to Old Trafford.

Yet United is not stopping there, though, with The Independent reporting that Ten Hag still wants another central midfielder, striker, and right back after the 30-year-old arrives.

United had been targeted a move for Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong but the deal now looks unlikely to materialize.

However, that hasn’t stopped United from daring to dream as they await new developments in regards to De Jong’s future as he continues to negotiate a potential salary reduction.
