Man United Forward Offered to two Italian clubs after humiliating defeat to Brentford

Inter and AC Milan have both been approached by Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, but both have rejected the offer due to the 37-year-old’s extremely high wages.

According to today’s print edition of the Rome-based newspaper Corriere Dello Sport, both the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri have turned down proposals from Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes because they would not be able to afford his net €24 million per season wages.

Ronaldo is hoping to leave Manchester United before the transfer window closes, with the Portuguese’s priority reported to be joining a club participating in the Champions League.

In this regard, both Inter and Milan would be able to offer the current United forward participation in Europe’s top competition, as his agent was informed.

However, both city rivals made it clear to Mendes that a move for Ronaldo is out of the question because his wages would be too high, not least because the Growth Decree would be inapplicable because he left Italy following his move from Juventus last summer.
