Whoscored is backing the 30-year-old to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Benzema, Lewandowski, and Ronaldo who have all managed to continue scoring into their mid-thirties.

Raj Chohan of the Premier League Panel broke down Salah’s improvements from a creative standpoint from last season: “He’s obviously a phenomenal goalscorer, he’s showed that throughout his time but I think we’ve seen an upwards trajectory in other parts of his game.

“For example, last season he was the top assist maker in the Premier League, he’s gone up a level in terms of his creative ability.

Salah has improved creatively since last season, according to Raj Chohan of the Premier League Panel. “He’s clearly a terrific goalscorer, he’s shown that throughout his tenure, but I think we’ve seen an upward trajectory in other elements of his game,” Chohan said.

He has improved in terms of his creative abilities, as evidenced by the fact that last season he was the Premier League’s leading assist producer.

“He’s developing new aspects of his game, and he’s obviously moving up the ladder.”
