Liverpool coach shower praises in £350K-A-Week player call him the best of all time

According to BBC Sport, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp lauded Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea for making a “great” stop during the second half of the Premier League game at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Last night, Manchester United defeated Liverpool 2-1 at home in a league match.

Although De Gea, a Spanish goalkeeper, has not been in great form this year, he did make two or three significant stops against Jurgen Klopp‘s team in the second half.

LIVERPOOL MANAGER JURGEN KLOPP ON MANCHESTER UNITED’S DAVID DE GEA

Klopp told BBC Sport: “The second goal does not help then it was a hectic game after our goal, definitely not the result we wanted.

“When we calmed down we have an extreme number of shots for an away game at United. we should use more of these moments, the second half David de Gea made a fantastic save.

“If you score then the game turns then we did not have enough time or power in the end.”

DISAPPOINTING DISPLAY FROM LIVERPOOL

For Manchester United, David de Gea was outstanding in goal, but Liverpool struggled on offense and defense.

Except for his goal, Mohamed Salah did not appear to be a very serious threat in attack, and Virgil van Dijk did not display the elite playmaking ability that his reputation demands at the defense.

Klopp will be more dissatisfied with his team’s effort than with the outcome because Liverpool did not generate as many chances as they typically do.
