The young player underperformed at Man United last season, but a new manager has given him the green light to succeed.
Jadon Sancho has been predicted to have a productive second season at Manchester United and to play a crucial role in Erik ten Hag’s reconstruction.
Following his £73 million transfer from Borussia Dortmund, the winger had a generally disappointing debut season. Only five goals and three assists were the 22-year-final old’s tally.
After the new year, he did briefly display some of his Bundesliga forms. The highlights of his United showreel thus far include a fantastic goal against Manchester City at the Etihad in March and an impressive effort in February’s 4-2 victory against Leeds.
And it is these flashes of brilliance that former defender Wes Brown cited as evidence that the attacker’s upcoming season might be rewarding. On July 8, Brown is scheduled to play for United in the Master’s Football series’ return.
He stated, “I can see Jadon Sancho pushing on under Ten Hag,” prior to the 360 Sports TV Masters Cup. You know what you need to do because it’s football; the question is whether you have the confidence to carry it out.
“Sancho had extremely close control and was getting in their faces throughout the second half of the season when he was taking on guys, often two, three, or four defenders. I observed that once he began doing that, the opposition appeared to be in fear.
