Erik ten Hag has given a strong warning to Manchester United players, including Cristiano Ronaldo

Erik ten Hag, the new manager of Manchester United, has laid down the law at Old Trafford.

According to rumors, Erik ten Hag has threatened Manchester United’s stars that if they do not satisfy his criteria, they would be replaced by academy players. In an email to all first-team players, the Dutchman appears to have spelled out his expectations, stating that strong egos will not be allowed under his guidance.

Ralf Rangnick, the club’s former temporary head coach, struggled to control a locker room brimming with strong personalities like Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Maguire, and Bruno Fernandes. Following his arrival from Ajax, new manager Ten Hag determined that this will not be an issue.

The 52-year-old reportedly cautioned players in a scathing email that training will be tough and that their fitness will be at an all-time high. Should the club’s FA Youth Cup-winning stars fail to fulfill Ten Hag’s high expectations, the club’s FA Youth Cup-winning stars will be drafted in.

“The new gaffer wrote the first-team players an email, telling them that football is a team game and no individual is more essential than any other,” a first-team source purportedly told the Sun.
