Chelsea to sign Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar

While considering potential deals for Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, CHELSEA WILL NOT stray from their top transfer objectives, the PA news agency has learned.

The Blues are still hoping to rapidly complete a deal for Raheem Sterling of Manchester City, while talks with Raphinha, a Brazilian forward for Leeds, are still going on.

Through middlemen, Chelsea is rumored to have been pushed to make offers for both Neymar of Paris St. Germain and Ronaldo of Manchester United.

Todd Boehly, the new chairman and interim sporting director, is believed to have been intrigued by the star power of two of the most recognizable people in the world of sports.

However, it will be up to Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel to decide whether the Stamford Bridge club looks to pursue any early interest.

Although Manchester United maintains that the 37-year-old Ronaldo of Portugal is not for sale, new Blues manager Boehly is rumored to have met with agent Jorge Mendes and discussed a number of players.

Although it is well known that Tuchel is a huge fan of Ronaldo’s obvious gifts, Chelsea is pursuing a forward line and tactical strategy that emphasizes fluidity and mobility.

Romelu Lukaku‘s difficulties in Tuchel’s Chelsea system may therefore be a sign of Ronaldo’s probable difficulties in the same areas.

Neymar is another famous person who is rumored to be interested in moving this summer; Chelsea is said to have been given the opportunity to make a bid for the PSG forward.

The two have always gotten along well personally, and it is believed that former PSG manager Tuchel still has a close personal bond with Neymar.

But at this point, it would appear unlikely that Chelsea will sign the 30-year-old.

Barcelona is believed to have been Raphinha’s top preference for a transfer from Leeds for a while, but the Catalans have yet to match Chelsea’s offer for the 25-year-old.

Sterling and Raphinha are still coveted transfers by Chelsea over any other strikers, with the Ronaldo and Neymar situations reportedly being treated separately from ongoing talks.
