Liverpool happy to welcome £13 million player back from injury

Liverpool has received the good news that a key player will return from injury ahead of schedule, giving them a big boost ahead of some crucial games.

Captain Jordan Henderson has been added to the England squad because he is expected to return from injury sooner than expected.

After missing five games due to a hamstring injury, fans will be overjoyed to see him nearing a return to action, as it will be a significant boost for a team that has struggled this season, particularly in midfield due to injuries.

With Henderson back in the fold, the Reds can re-use their preferred Fabinho, Thiago, and Henderson midfield, which should help them regain their form.

Having been absent for five games through a hamstring injury, fans will surely be overjoyed to see him nearing a return to action as it will be a big boost for the side that has struggled this season – especially in midfield due to injuries suffered.

With Henderson back in the fold, the Reds can once again deploy their favored Fabinho, Thiago, and Henderson midfield which should help to re-discover their form.

However, with this being the last camp before the World Cup in Qatar, it made sense for a key, senior figure to be around and for him to build back up to full fitness ahead of the Premier League’s return following its postponement.

Returning to the midfield three will likely see young star Harvey Elliott make way despite what has been a bright start to the season for the 19-year-old.

Some fans believe that Henderson offers more defensive stability on the right-hand side of midfield which allows Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold to work their magic down the right wing. He’s been an ever-present figure on that side and Liverpool has looked less organized without one of the leading figures.

Next up is Brighton at home on October 1st and they will be hoping to build on the late 2-1 win over Ajax last time out. Henderson will be pushing to start if he’s fit enough and will look to bring balance to their midfield.

His presence, voice, and stature alone will help the side, despite now being 32 years old. But he will remain a key player for the rest of the season before Liverpool inevitably signs a new midfielder or two next summer.
