Man Utd willing to pay €90m fixed fee plus add-ons to sign the Brazilian speed king

According to Corriere Dello Sport, Manchester United is ready to make a second bid for Ajax winger Antony before the summer transfer deadline.

The Red Devils earned their first Premier League points of the season Sunday with a 2-1 victory over archrivals Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Regardless of the outcome, it is evident that they require additional players before the window closes, and we predict a large purchasing spree in the following days.

Report: PSG Rivaling Barcelona, Bayern Munich for Ajax's Antony

Antony is one of their main targets, and according to Corriere Dello Sport, the club is prepared to make another lucrative bid to convince Ajax to sell him.

As per the publication, United offered a fixed fee of €80m plus €20m in add-ons which were rejected last week. They are now willing to pay €90m up front.

Earlier this month, there were suggestions that United could look elsewhere due to the hefty price tag set by Ajax, but the club is now determined to land him.

United boss Erik ten Hag has regularly said that he wants the right players in the squad, and Antony would be an ideal fit, having played under him at Ajax for two seasons

The Brazilian made the right-wing position his own under the Dutchman. The ‘new Neymar‘ produced an impressive 22 goal contributions last campaign, operating from the role.

While the price tag is beyond the initial expectations, Antony would be a quality acquisition for United. He has superb pace, dribbling ability, and a knack for creating key passes.

The 22-year-old also possesses good finishing ability. While Jadon Sancho excelled yesterday, the club needs strong competition for places to compete for trophies.

Antony may not be the only attacker joining the Red Devils by September 1. United is also actively looking to sign Cody Gakpo from the Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
