Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Crystal Palace as Gabriel Jesus and saka start

There is some excitement among the fans as to the new entrant into the center-back department. William Saliba should finally be making his debut for the club after signing for the club back in the summer of 2019. The Frenchman will have the dependable presence of Gabriel accompanying him.

In the center of midfield, the usual duo of Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka will start. The duo will be key in holding onto the position and the last time Arsenal faced Crystal Palace, the midfield allowed too many chances.

Martin Odegaard, the new captain of the club will be the creative fulcrum and will start as the attacking midfielder. His ability to drop back and help defend gives them a lot more flexibility and that can be useful in finding some balance.

On the wings, the north Londoners will have the young and exciting presence of Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. These two have the ability to change the game in an instant and the duo will be looking to do just that against the Palace defense.

And up front, is the big money signing of the summer, Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City. Not having a clinical attacker was a big problem for Arsenal last year and the arrival of the Brazilian should change that. There is a long way to go till the end of the season and Arteta will be hoping that his players can start off on the right foot.
