A new date will be communicated in due course, according to the European confederation. It is the second European tie to be impacted by the Queen’s death, following the postponement of the Rangers’ home game against Napoli on Tuesday.

All other European fixtures on British soil will go ahead as planned with Liverpool hosting Ajax on Tuesday, while Chelsea welcomes Salzburg and Manchester City play host to Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. The Queen died last Thursday which led to the postponement of a raft of football matches at the weekend, with three more matches set to be postponed in the weekend ahead of the Queen’s funeral.
