Newcastle United ready to make bid to sign 27-year-old super midfielder

Newcastle United is suddenly contending with the Premier League’s elite sides, in sharp contrast to a year ago.

Eddie Howe oversaw a stunning turnaround in their fortunes, and they now rank third in the league.

Howe must have been happy with his team’s performance prior to the mid-season break.

Newcastle, on the other hand, will need to keep looking for methods to improve their team in order to maintain their league place.
Newcastle United is preparing a proposal for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to CalcioMercato.

The 27-year-old has been linked with Liverpool, and according to CalcioMercato, Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested.

However, they believe Newcastle is at the front of the queue to sign Rabiot, and the signs are looking good to complete the deal.

Newcastle is ready to bid for Rabiot

According to CalcioMercato, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has resigned himself to losing Rabiot.

Rabiot’s contract with Juventus expires next summer, and there’s no indication he’ll extend it.

They feel ‘there is a risk‘ Rabiot will move as soon as January, with Newcastle’ready to propose a lucrative offer.’

The 27-year-old has been an important member of France’s World Cup squad, forming an unusual connection with Antoine Griezmann.

Rabiot has clearly taken it, which may be part of the reason Newcastle is so anxious to sign him.

The Frenchman is said to be wanting £166k per week to quit Juventus.

This would make him Newcastle’s highest-paid player, but it underlines the caliber of the player with whom the Magpies are now linked.

So far, Newcastle’s midfield duo of Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton has served them well.

Rabiot’s addition to the mix might propel Newcastle to the next level.
