Liverpool wants to significantly improve its midfield department next summer and will try to bring in two excellent midfielders.

It is no secret that Jurgen Klopp will need to bring in midfield reinforcements at the end of the season. And it will be interesting to see if Liverpool can sign players like Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice in the summer window.

Experienced players such as Jordan Henderson and James Milner have reached the end of their careers. Meanwhile, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, and Thiago Alcantara have sustained long-term injuries. Furthermore, Brazilian midfielder Fabinho has battled to regain his prime form.

That said, Liverpool will have to finish in the top four in order to attract the top talents to Anfield next season. Players like Bellingham and Rice are already one of the best players in their respective leagues, and they will not want to join a club without UEFA Champions League football.

If Liverpool is successful in acquiring both players, it will be a big coup for the team. There is no doubt that the Merseyside club will have to spend a lot of money to recruit both players.

In recent months, the two players have been connected with a variety of European teams, including Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester United. So it remains to be seen whether Liverpool can hold off their European rivals and capture their services.
