Sadio Mane arrived in Germany ahead of a physical with Bayern Munich later today, putting him one step closer to joining the Bundesliga club this week.
Last week, Liverpool and the German club agreed on a £35.1 million fee for the 30-year-old.
The Bundesliga champions are slated to reveal the star forward on Wednesday at the Allianz Arena.
The Reds were hesitant to part ways with their best player this summer, but it seemed unavoidable when the Senegalese international expressed his wish to leave Anfield.
Liverpool finally agreed to a cost of £27.4 million, with an additional £5.1 million based on appearances and £2.6 million based on individual and team performances, after rejecting two offers with what they considered unrealistic bonuses.

Mane, along with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, helped Liverpool win the Champions League for the sixth time and end a 30-year drought for a Premier League crown.
In 2016, he joined Liverpool for £31 million-plus £2.5 million in add-ons from Southampton, and he instantly became an integral component of Klopp’s Merseyside revolution.
The Senegalese international scored 120 goals in 269 appearances in all competitions during his six-year stay with the club.
He’s had a fantastic year so far, winning the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal before assisting Liverpool in winning the Carabao Cup and FA Cup, as well as finishing second in the Premier League and Champions League.
While Mane is on his way out, Liverpool has already found a successor, signing Darwin Nunez from Benfica for a club-record fee of £85 million.
As part of their summer activity, the Reds have also secured the signatures of Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay.
