Last season, in 47 appearances for PSV, Gakpo scored 21 goals and provided 15 assists in competitions, and was named the Dutch Footballer of the Year.
This season, in just 24 games, the 9-cap international, who will compete in the World Cup, has already produced 30 goals (13 goals and 17 assists).
Voetbal International reported in April that the Netherlands star’s representatives had met with Liverpool.
The youngster’s current contract with the Philips Stadion club expires in 2026, and according to reports (Football Transfers), the club wants 45 million euros (£39.4 million) for him.
