Erik ten Hag has requested a comprehensive report on each of his Manchester United players

Erik ten Hag “has ordered a thorough report on every single one of his Manchester United players – including where they are all going on HOLIDAY this summer – so he can assess their character and readiness for early pre-season under his stringent regime,” according to the source.

The Dutchman earned a reputation for rigorous management at Ajax and is already attempting to assert his authority at Old Trafford.

The 52-year-old coach is expected to build a winning culture at the football club following a decade of relative upheaval since the Sir Alex Ferguson era, in addition to pushing the Red Devils further up the Premier League table next season.

According to The Mirror, Ten Hag has demanded to know everything about his players on and off the pitch, similar to Ferguson’s forceful and controlling attitude.

Apart from communicating with a few players via Zoom and WhatsApp, the new manager has yet to meet the full team but will be well informed on their career and personal life prior to pre-season.

Ten Hag is said to be looking for information on each player’s home and family life, as well as a detailed description of their character.

Ten Hag appears to be employing a tactic to guarantee his squad returns to pre-season in the best possible shape by requesting information on where each player is heading on vacation.

Some Ajax players dubbed him ‘The Headmaster’ in Amsterdam because of his all-knowing and disciplinary approach to keeping his house in order.

On June 27, the Red Devils resume preseason training.

  1. In today’s world players are considered
As role models. They do a lot of sacrifices but must lead by example. Must show discipline in their everyday’s life and not expose themselves with bad/wrong acts/ behaviour. They will then earn respect.
