Bayern Munich links to sign Portugal star after 2022 world cup as player set to leave club

Here we go…again? Bayern Munich‘s links to attackers are unstoppable, and the World Cup has, if anything, lighting a flame. Joo Félix of Portugal is reportedly leaving Atlético Madrid in January, making him one of the biggest names in the winter transfer season. According to Spanish media, Bayern Munich, PSG, Manchester United, and Chelsea FC are all probable destinations:

At this point, it’s prudent to take this all with a giant heaping of salt. Félix pushing for an immediate transfer would be big news, if true, and he’d certainly draw the attention of some of the biggest clubs in the continent.

But if he really will move in the winter, Bavaria should be an exceedingly unlikely destination. Sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidžić has maintained that the German giants won’t be making moves this January. Remember?

Félix’s camp is well aware of this, but the Spanish media may not be. In any event, Bayern’s emerging needs are unmistakably defensive. Including a €50 million transfer in the attack? Doubtful, indeed.
