Cristiano Ronaldo may have let slip his next big-money move after informing a close friend he could see himself at PSG.

The Manchester United hero, 37, has registered just one Premier League goal for the Red Devils this term after finding his game time drastic cut short by new boss Erik ten Hag. Rattling in a respectable 24 goals last campaign, Ronaldo was one of few to emerge with credit from a dismal season that saw United slump to a sixth-place finish and only just scrape Europa League football

However, the veteran forward has struggled to force his way into Ten Hag’s thoughts and is expected to once again push for a move away from Old Trafford in January.

Keen to embark on a 20th consecutive season in the Champions League, Ronaldo was adamant he wanted to leave Man Utd in the summer transfer window but prospective moves to Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon, and Napoli all fell by the wayside.

Yet, a friend’s biography, as reported by L’Equipe, states that Ronaldo has identified his next club which could even see him line up alongside an old foe.

“The door is open,” reads the biography when translated. “Only with the Portuguese from the Paris region, the club could fill the stadium. I see myself well at the Parc des Princes, in front of fifty thousand Portuguese. That would be great.”

Already blessed with a plethora of attacking talent, Christophe Galtier’s star-studded squad includes the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr, and seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi. Boasting 45 goals as a trio this season, Ronaldo is unlikely to displace any of the Parisian’s forwards.

Though it still could be a match made in heaven. Ronaldo’s affinity with the Champions League has seen the Portuguese hero win the ‘Big Ears’ trophy on five separate occasions with the Ligue 1 giants still searching for their first serious European crown
