Otavio, a winger for FC Porto, is set to be the target of a bid from Liverpool FC in the near future, according to a report.

Following FC Porto’s rejection of Leeds United’s £26 million proposals, The Daily Mirror reports that the Reds are expected to “firm up” their interest in signing the 27-year-old Brazilian.

The Portuguese team is reportedly anticipating a bid from Liverpool FC for the winger in the neighborhood of £34 million as Jurgen Klopp contemplates bolstering his attack ahead of the 2017–18 campaign.

Last week, Leeds United reportedly submitted a bid that was a little under £26 million, but the Portuguese club quickly turned down the offer. This week, the Whites are anticipated to make a stronger bid, the story continues.

FC Porto and Liverpool FC recently exchanged business after Liverpool FC acquired Luis Diaz from the Portuguese club during the January transfer window.
