The England international is coming off a season in which he scored 11 goals and added seven assists for Arsenal in the Premier League. While playing for a mediocre Arsenal team that finished fifth, he racked up an outstanding score.
Saka’s contract with the club expires in 2024, and he appears hesitant to commit his long-term future to the team. Not only is Liverpool interested in the youngster, but Manchester City appears to be as well.
The Arsenal winger would not commit his future to the club until a release clause is included in his new deal, according to Empire Of The Kop.
With only two years left on his current contract, it wouldn’t be surprising if the 20-year-old played his way out of the club in the hopes of joining City or Liverpool. Alternatively, either of these clubs might make a summer approach for the star in the hope that Arsenal will agree to a lower amount for the player, as the Gunners are hesitant to allow him to run down his contract and go on a free transfer.
With Mane‘s possible transfer to Bayern Munich, the Reds are in serious need of reinforcements, and Klopp appears to be a major fan of Saka’s ability to play several positions at a high level.

According to sources in the Mail, Liverpool and Manchester City are both interested in Arsenal striker Bukayo Saka.
The England international came via Arsenal’s youth system and has been a regular in Mikel Arteta‘s first team.
He’s under contract until 2023, with a one-year extension provision (which Arsenal would almost certainly use), so he’d be a costly asset to wrest away from the Emirates.
