Manchester United is known for developing young talent and then integrating them into the senior first squad, and according to recent rumors, the Premier League giants appear to be on track to do it again.
The Red Devils consider winger Alejandro Garnacho a ‘great talent,’ according to top transfer expert and CaughtOffside columnist Fabrizio Romano, and are eager to sign him to a new long-term contract.
Garnacho, 17, joined Manchester United’s famous development academy in 2020 after leaving Atletico Madrid for a fee of £419,000.
After making over 50 appearances for United’s under-18s, under-19s, and under-23s in all competitions, the 17-year-old was handed his first-team debut at the close of last season, replacing winger Anthony Elanga in the second half against Chelsea.
Despite the fact that the gifted Argentine has yet to make his senior debut, he is credited with 21 goals and 10 assists at the juvenile level.
With the forward expected to play a vital role under Erik Ten Hag in the coming seasons, the news that the club is already working to tie him down will come as a huge comfort to United fans anxious to see more of him.
Good Luck
