The 26-year-representatives old’s have reportedly contacted the Nerazzurri about the potential of joining when his contract with the Foxes expires at the end of June 2023, according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews.
Only the current season is left on Soyuncu’s current deal with Leicester.
When his contract expires, the Turkish international may leave the Premier League team for free.
The Nerazzurri are one of the clubs the player’s agents have contacted to suggest the idea of a transfer for the upcoming season as they search for the player’s future.
Inter would be interested in bringing Soyuncu in, but only depending on what happens with other defenders already in the squad.
Stefan de Vrij’s contract runs out at the end of June 2023, whilst Francesco Acerbi is currently on loan from Lazio.
The Nerazzurri are striving to make Acerbi’s loan move permanent and to extend de Vrij’s contract, but if they are unable in doing so, they would be open to the idea of signing Soyuncu as a replacement.
