On Sunday afternoon, Manchester United will face Aston Villa in the Premier League at Villa Park. Erik ten Hag’s team is unbeaten in their previous nine games, winning seven and drawing two, while preserving a clean sheet in six of them. United is in good shape.
Villa recently parted ways with Steven Gerrard and replaced him with Unai Emery, formerly of Sevilla and Arsenal. Before any of this weekend’s matches, Villa are in 16th place in the Premier League, while United are in fifth place, eight points behind Arsenal.
United will need to maintain their current form ahead of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this month and are on a three match winning streak which added to their nine-match unbeaten run shows a massing change to United’s fortunes based on their start earlier this season.
