Confirmed Chelsea squad for USA pre-season tour without Loftus-Cheek and Kante

Chelsea will train in Los Angeles for a while before participating in three matches throughout the USA.
For Chelsea’s pre-season tour of the United States, Thomas Tuchel has selected a 29-man roster, leaving out Ruben Loftus-Cheek, N’Golo Kante, and Ian Maatsen. 
After their first week of practice, the Blues team departs on Saturday, with the club’s international players expected to rejoin the group this weekend.

The club has confirmed that Loftus-Cheek and Kante won’t travel to the US due to their Covid vaccination status, while youngster Armando Broja won’t join the squad until next week. The group will first fly to Los Angeles for a week-long training camp before traveling to Las Vegas, Charlotte, and Florida, where the club has friendlies scheduled with Club America, Charlotte, and Arsenal, respectively

Chelsea will be hoping that Raheem Sterling can join the trip after agreeing on personal terms with the Manchester City star earlier in the week. Negotiations with the Premier League champions are believed to be close for a £45 million deal with the prospect of another £10 million in add-ons.
