The Liverpool forward is close to signing a three-year contract with Bayern Munich after reaching a verbal agreement. The player is ready to terminate his time at Anfield and move to the Bundesliga to take the next step in his career.

Bayern Munich is reportedly in the last stages of negotiations with Liverpool about the transfer fee, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Bavarians have had two previous bids rejected by the Premier League giants, but they are preparing to provide new terms that should persuade the Reds to allow their prized attacker to leave.

Bayern Munich has informally agreed on personal terms with Mane, after Liverpool’s announcement of Darwin Nunez‘s arrival. The Uruguayan superstar has signed a long-term contract with the Reds, with the club paying a hefty fee for the former SL Benfica forward’s services.

Nunez is anticipated to take Mane’s place in the starting lineup. The teenager can play everywhere on the frontline, and his technical ability, along with his speed, should allow him to blend in seamlessly with Liverpool’s Diogo Jota, Mohamed Salah, and Luis Diaz.

Nunez’s arrival at Anfield also means Sadio Mane’s time on Merseyside is coming to an end.
